So I will start with the Oklahoma zoo. I decided to go on a day that I thought was supposed to be a bit cooler. Was I wrong! The weather here is crazy hot. I never expected it to be this bad here. I honestly dare compare it to a Phoenix summer.... no joke! It's in the 100's and miserably humid on top of that!! The kids don't seem to mind it all that much, we just keep water handy at all times! Anyways, here are some pics........

The bird Aviary. Basically a great big cage that they allowed us to walk into and pet the birds. Some of the birds would land on your arm. It was really cool. The kids loved it until one of the birds pecked at Brody. He wasn't so thrilled after that! Haha!

It was a long hot day, we were pooped and ready to go home. Brody had passed out at this point. Jace can't seem to keep his shirt on here either. I can't blame him though, it's SO HOT!

I love going to the zoo! It's always a fun place for the kids and me. And talk about hot, it is so so hot here, but better then the humidity + hot. Thank you again for letting me stay at your home, i seriously can't thank you and JD enough. You guys are awesome and so is your beautiful home!
Can you blame Jace for wanting to show off those sweet pecs and abs of his? I'd have my shirt off all the time too!!
Gotta love the zoo! It definitely looks like it beats the El Pisso zoo!! Although, I don't remember getting pecked by birds in El Paso ;) Poor Brodesters!
Love the OKC zoo! Wanna know whats weird? I don't think we hit any of those same spots when we went...twice! Maybe we need to go together...Wednesday??
Good times! and I wish we would have known to bring frito's into the bird cage, cause I really wanted to hold one!
