THE CAKE!!!
Afterwards we sang to Brody and had cake and ice cream at home. The night before I was trying to be Martha Stewart and make him his very own cake and decorate it too! Haha it's SO pathetic! (I think I am going to take a cake decorating class) Doesn't matter because it got destroyed and most of it ended up on the floor anyways. It took him about 3 seconds to figure out what to do with it! It was adorable to watch him just dig in. Here is a play by play....

I still can't believe Brodesters is ONE! And he's almost walking?! Are you serious?! That's crazy! I love the first picture of him with his cake....he looks like he is thinking, "wait..is mom letting me play with my cake? Do I dare?? Hmmmm...." Too funny! Do you know what else is funny? That sorry attempt at a cake! HA HA! Ok ok, I'm just kidding. I'm actually quite impressed! I haven't ever tried decorating a cake. A cake decorating class would be fun! Has someone been watching a little too much Duff Goldman lately??

That seems crazy that he is already one! Such a fun age - and when you have two older ones it seems like the one-year-old is a little angel. Nothing they do can make you mad, even when they start to get little attitudes.

Hey Leah, thanks for that sweet comment on my blog. That made me feel good about this pregnancy. And yes we actaully picked out a name for this baby a long time ago but everyone will find out when he is born!!! hehe! Also, if you want to take a cake decorating class you should have my mom teach you sometime when she's in town for FREE!!! She used to own her own business and was a cake decorator when i was little and was and is an amazing cake decorator! She has tons of books of all the cakes she has done. She is really good! When she comes in town in August we should get all the girls together and take a class from her. I'll tell her to bring all her stuff. Let me know what you think.

Your kids are so stinkin CUTE! Everytime you post new pics of Brody I swear he grows and gets even freakin cuter (if possible!) And Brody's hair - love it. Pretty sure he has more than Kiya now :) Why is it the boys always get the good hair lol!
Awwww he's so handsome, the last time I saw him he was a little baby and it wasn't that long ago, man does time fly and kids grow up too fast! Well it looks like you guys had a blast at his party, I miss you and can't wait to see ya soon! xoxoxo!
The cutest ever! Is that a Mickey Mouse crown? Love it! I hope he had the best birthday! Miss you all!!! I love his hair. He's got curls. So I attempted to get the boys pictures taken today. Absolutely awful of Connor. I didn't end up even buying one of him. It doesn't look like you'd have that problem though with this cutie! And of course Aves and JAce are as cute as can be. Can't wait to see all of you. Oh and congrats to Lana and Aaron!
