I think it's finally starting to cool down here a little. Last week there were days that weren't in the 100's!! Anyways, Sunday night I decided to put off doing the dishes and take advantage of such a gorgeous night! Took the kiddos out on a night walk. We took some bubbles and flashlights with us and ventured out to the kids school to blow bubbles in the parking lot. It rained a lot last week so there were little puddles everywhere. The kids were tempted to ride their bikes through every single one of them! While we were at the school, I saw some lightning in the distance and it smelled like rain. I told the kids we needed to leave before we got caught in a storm. (Secretly I thought that would be kind of fun.) As we were leaving the kids thought they'd ride their bikes down this little flood wash to get back to the sidewalk. Brody thought he'd try a wheelie at the bottom of it.... and as you can see, it didn't go too well! Haha!! I turned around and was just waiting for his reaction as he was pulling himself out of the mud. I full on expected him to start screaming. Nope, he got up with a big ol grin. That was awesome! I was laughing so hard. "Don't get up! I want a picture!" In Brody's words, this is how it went down... "I was going "trickin" down this hill and popped a wheelie and fell in the mud." So proud of himself! I love this kid.

Nice recovery dude!!
I took this pic once we made it home, he was wet and covered in mud!
Sometimes I look at pics and can't believe we have 4 kids now! Feeling really blessed.
Gotta end every post with a pic of my babe!!! She is the best little baby. Just loves to sit and observe her crazy siblings.
Looking forward to some cooler nights ahead and many more "night walks." Hopefully filled with lots of "trickin!"
