I am finally getting around to posting about Valentines Day. Hope everyone's was great! JD and I celebrated it on Friday due to the fact that we could NOT get a sitter for Saturday night. I tried really really hard too! Anyways, we went out to dinner and a dueling piano joint... had too much fun! Saturday I made sugar cookies with the kiddies and then we all got dressed up in our festive red and black outfits and went out to dinner with the fam. Later that night I made JD watch "Fireproof" with me.... oh man, we had some good laughs! JD was like "who recommended this? And who recommended we watch this for Valentines Day?" Haha, nobody recommended we watch it specifically on Vday... I just thought it was going to be a sort of chick flick! More like Christian marriage counseling and bad acting!! LOL Really though, I think we both took something from it and we did enjoy it. I LOVE you honey and thank you for making this Vday Rock!! XOXO

This pic is random but we also went to the pool this weekend. It was Brody's first time in the water and he LOVED it. We were in the hot tub, he had his life jacket on and just layed back and chilled. He didn't move a muscle he was so relaxed! Most adorable thing EVER! Ahhh we love this little guy!

Seriously, I watch too much infomercials. Annnnnyway, I'm still laughing about you making JD watch Fireproof! HAHA! The entire time Mark and I were watching it, he kept saying, "Are you SURE this isn't a church film?" Good message...but wow, como se dice, horrible acting? And did you know that the girl Kirk Cameron kissed at the end, is his real wife? Hence why it was shadowed.
I'm surprised that your fam got in somewhere to eat on Vday...wait, you went to Chic-Fil-A, didn't you? It's all good. I love their nuggets.
And I love Aves Mcgee's "fip fops" while making cookies.
But seriously, Brody cracks me up! He loves himself a good hot tub! What a pimp!
Oh, I forgot one more thing. Tell Jace Auntie Lachelle thinks his hair is sweet! Tell Jace that he needs to teach Uncle Mark how to mo-hawk his hair!
Oh, and this is totally off subject, but Mark and I were wondering if Jace still sang "Boots with the Fur" song?

P.S. I love how you said I'm finally getting around to Valentine's Day post, and I just finished Christmas, at this rate I'll be posting Valentine's for Easter lol!

Leah, Mike and i saw Fireproof together too! It is bad acting, but it makes some really good points in relationships. Mike knew what it was about and watched it, and believe it or not he started trying more on little things that matter to me! That's so awesome JD watched that movie with you. You guys are all so cute!
